this little creek is now surrounding our entire house!!
somewhere between 1:30 and 7;30 this morning, i relocated to the bank of a river somewhere....actually i am a little close than i would like to be.....it's even withe the bottom of my hubby's shop and also our front door step. hhhmmmmm....a no school day? possibly. the kids got up at the crack of dawn just to tell me that there was water (and runnin water at that) completely surrounding our house. these kids sleep til at least 8 or 8:30 every morning. one in particular slept til 10:30 yesterday morning....and that was only because someone drug her out!
gas can just floated past my window. earlier a softshell turtle thought our front yard was his home....so, by 8o'clock the kids got a short wildlife lesson, weather lesson, science lesson....really the list could go on. also a lesson on "how NOT to drive a bus on a wet dirtroad". yes, i think we will explore today, after the rain.
now i must go turn off the today show, for they are telling that you can now puchase sex on craigs list!!! good heavens people!!! i mean really! get you some GOD!!!
i am now gonna attempt to post a picture that'll make me smile!! see above to see if i did a good job.
p.s. they just came across the tv to warn us of a "flash flood".....thanks for that warning...that i needed around 2 this a.m.
