Easter and the past month.....april 2011

Well peeps, as you can see, SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!
This beautiful bunch o' tulips is in Tifton, Georgia. I know (I think I know) that tulips are bulbs and have to be planted or dug up every year and replanted? Not 100% sure. Anyway, if so, these ppl are on top of it and I thank them. I make it a point to ride by here every year in the spring and admire their lovelys. Thank you Tifton people on 28th street!!!
and if you think these are pretty, you should google "tulips holland".....all i can say is WOW!!

This is a picture that Jake took. Not sure how he got that beauty to sit perfectly still for this picture but it is extraordinary! I would love to start a butterfly collection that you keep in those shadowboxes but I just can't bring myself to teach my kids to kill something so beautiful. I don't think that's what God intented. Besides, it makes it that much sweeter when you just "happen" up on one of them :)

speakin of God.....this was a close call we had on the way home from Albany one day.
We (me, the kids, and moma) were just taking of from a red light turned green when this "trailer" flew around us minus his truck. Actually, when I looked to our left as it came around, he disconnected. You can see the truck parked in the middle of the road ahead. We were actually parked in the road behind him where we stopped as he came around us and this is how close a call we had to being hit or having a trailer topple over ontop of my mama's tiny car. It scared me when I thought of "what could have happened" because 3/4 of my life was in the backseat of her car.

as you can see, God is good because NOT ONE person was hurt in this accident that could have been MUCH WORSE!

And this here is a baby shower brunch that we (me and mama) catered for a girl we go to church with. As you can see, we love to cook......and as you can tell by looking at us, we are GOOD COOKS!!!

This is one of the things we look forward to most in the spring! Going to Calhoun's to pick fresh, beautiful, sweet, red strawberries!!! You can see the field behind the babes and Jake has two bucketsful of these yummy sweets. They also have another fiel in another county nearby and it is 10 times more spectacular than this one. The other one is wayyyyyyyyy out in the country and has so many things to do. Animals, a shop, food, tractor rides, playground.......and the list goes on  :)

LOOK AT THESE!!! THEY MAKE ME SMILE!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.....LIKE I SAID, GOD IS GOOD!!! WHO COULD MAKE ANYTHING MORE BEAUTIFUL?

And here she is! The princess of the Perry household.....She had a birthday. She's 5 now. Grown. We are in the process of packing her bags. She's gonna get a job and an apartment. See, she's grown.
So she says.....like 100 times a day   :)  Thank you God for blessing me with this handful!

and this even bigger handful! Here we are on our way to our churchs' Easter picnic and egg hunt. These are some eager little bunnies and Jake was especially eager because he got word there would be money in the coveted PRIZE EGG...that he didnotfind  :(

Me and my "big" babies taking a brask from all the festivities. MAP was at work making the bacon to bring home.

I try really hard every year to get a family picture of us in our easter best. Wanna hear something really funny? This is the 4th Easter in a row that I've worn this dress. I only wear it ON Easter. Never worn it on any other day.......I may have a tradition. I really do like it. It has poppy's (really BIG poppy's) all over it. Wanna hear something else funny? I got the trash can in the foreground. I think I can crop it out but noone is gonna have feet after that!  Note: the "grown up one" in the front there?

The bunny was good to Ben this year again....he got candy....and fishing tackle! of course, what else?

Rivers got a mermaid barbie. The kids have been in the pool alot lately so she'll love this. Rivers thinks everytime she gets in the pool or ocean that she turns onto a mermaid  :) I know I do  :) and she got lots of candy, too!!!

And Jake. He got ties. Two. A long tie and a bow tie. That boy loves his ties. He wears a tie to church EVERY Sunday! even if he has on a t-shirt. The Easter Bunny was quiet proud of herself because of the two $38 ties that she got for only $9 each!!!
We made them close their eyes while we sat thier buckets in front of them. The Easter bunny had a close call this year b/c of a headache that sent her to bed early without delivering the goods first!!!

but luckily it all went off without a glitch! and we had happy babes!!!
